What is Form E?
is an employer's tax return form that reports employees' annual salary information to LHDN.

This form includes the following details for the previous year:
1. Manpower situation
2. Employee scale
3. Compensation and benefits expenditure

Who is responsible for submitting Form E?
Sole Proprietorship
Partnership
Berhad (Incorporated)
Private Limited Company (SDN BHD)
Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)

Under what circumstances is Form E required to be submitted?



If Form E is not submitted, the following penalties may be imposed upon discovery:
1. Fine ranging from RM200 to RM20,000.
2. Imprisonment for a period not exceeding 6 months.
3. Both fine and imprisonment may be imposed.

Friendly reminder:
When submitting Form E, employers also need to prepare Form CP8D and provide Form EA/EC to employees.
The forms should include employees' details and their information for the past year, such as:
Income
Allowances
Commissions
Exempt income/benefits
Monthly tax deductions (PCB)
EPF contributions
